Matthew Villareal
Math TeacherMatthew joined the Excel Academy Rhode Island team as a 6th Grade Math Teacher in 2023. Prior to Excel, Matthew worked as an 4th and 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Clear Fork Elementary in Lockhart, TX and a 6th Grade Math, Science, and ELA Teacher at Covington Elementary in Los Altos, CA. Outside of teaching, you can find Matthew watching his beloved San Francisco Giants, visiting new bookstores, finding the best Rueben sandwich in Rhode Island.
