Luis Ortez
Associate Dean of StudentsLuis joined the Excel Academy Chelsea team in 2023 as the Associate Dean of Culture. Prior to Excel, Luis held administrative and teaching roles at Neighborhood House Charter School in Dorchester. Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Stonehill College and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University. Luis was a 2017 Teach for America home-grown corps member.
