Lars Babbott-Ward
Electives Teacher and Building SubstituteLars joined the Excel Academy East Boston team as the Music Teacher in 2023. Prior to Excel, Lars held coaching and teaching roles at the Learning Center for the Deaf, St. Mark’s School, and High Spirit Community Farm. Lars holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Music, and Education from Wesleyan University. When they aren’t creating organized musical chaos, they are hosting open mics, coaching high school and adult paraplegic rowing, singing in Tonal Eclipse a cappella, and hanging out with their fish and frog named Beep and Gibbous.
