Kelly Garcia
Associate Dean of Transition PlanningKelly Garcia joined Excel in 2017 and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Transition Planning at Excel Academy Charter High School. Prior to Excel, Kelly worked as a special education teacher and case manager at City on a Hill Charter High School in Roxbury, MA. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in women and gender studies from College of the Holy Cross and holds a master’s degree in education from Boston University. Kelly currently serves as an elected official in Chelsea and is the Vice-Chairwoman of the Chelsea School Committee. She was also nominated as one of the Latino 30 Under 30 in November 2018 for her dedication and hard work in the community of Chelsea. Kelly graduated from Excel Academy Orient Heights in 2007.
