Kate Ring
Head of SchoolKate joined Excel Academy Rhode Island in 2023 as Head of School. Prior to Excel, Kate served in teaching and administrative roles in Nashville, TN and Boston, including principal of LEAD Cameron, Tennessee’s first turnaround school. Kate has a Master of Art in Teaching from Belmont University and an Educational Doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. When not at school, Kate most enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running, listening to audiobooks, and trying new recipes.
