Jamie De Rios

Jamie joined Excel Academy in 2015 as an MLL Specialist at Excel East Boston, and then joined the High School team that same year as founding Spanish teacher and later department head. Jamie now serves as a Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at XLHS, working with teachers in the Arts department and with students and families on attendance. Prior to Excel, Jamie lived in Arequipa and Lima, Peru teaching English as a Second Language through the Fulbright program. Jamie spends a lot of time interpreting family meetings at school and singing Frozen and Encanto songs with her daughter.
