Darren Gray
Director of Diversity, Equity, and InclusivityDarren joined Excel in 2022 and currently serves as a Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at Excel Academy. Prior to Excel, Darren served as the Founding Principal of Catalyst Academy Charter School in Pittsburgh, PA. Darren spent the start of his career as a TFA Corps Member having worked in public and charter schools in the rural and urban South as an English & history teacher and Assistant Principal. Darren holds a degree in History and Philosophy from Samford University.
