Cheryl Farland

Cheryl joined Excel Academy Rhode Island as an Associate Teacher Learning Specialist in 2023. Prior to Excel, Cheryl held roles In Massachusetts and Rhode Island as a Teaching Fellow / Interventionist, Title 1 Interventionist, and Special Education Inclusion Specialist in both public and charter schools. She holds a BA from the University of Rhode Island. Although from Rhode Island she has lived on both Florida coasts. When Cheryl is not in the classroom you can find her on the bike path, hiking the trails, reading a book by the water, meditating, and trying new activities. Her favorite has been glass blowing.
