Our Team

Alexandra Gandolfo

Alexandra joined Excel Academy East Boston and Excel Academy Charter High School in 2022 as a Reading Specialist. Prior to Excel, Alexandra taught second grade in Methuen, MA and tutored middle school children in ELA. She has her BAs in English and Communication from Hofstra University and her MA in Publishing & Writing from Emerson College. Since arriving at Excel, Alexandra has attained certification in Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus and Morphology Plus through IMSE and is pursuing licensure in Special Education. She enjoys cooking, reading, and giving up learning how to crochet once a quarter just to try again the next.
