We are excited to announce we are partnering with our neighbors at Brooke Charter Schools and the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center to provide free COVID-19 vaccines for our students, families, and community members of East Boston and Chelsea. This will be a fun event full of music, food, friendly faces, and a chance to enter your Excel student in a raffle (more details to come)!
Here are the important details you need to know about the event:
What:
- Free Covid-19 vaccines (Pfizer) for people ages 12 and up
- Pre-registration encouraged, but walk-ins welcome
- No ID or insurance required
Where: Excel Academy High School Gym – 401 Bremen Street, East Boston, MA 02128
When: (you will need to come both days)
- Wednesday, June 9th from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (1st Dose)
- Wednesday, June 30th from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (2nd Dose)

*** There is a question about insurance information, but proof of insurance is not necessary. If you have your insurance card, feel free to bring it on the day of the event. Walk-ins will also be welcomed, but we highly encourage parents to fill out the registration link.
Important: If a parent or legal guardian is not present at the event your student can still receive the vaccine if both consent forms are filled out with a signature. This only applies to Excel and Brooke students ages 12-17. Paper consent forms are available to pick up at all Excel campus’s front desks. Online versions can be found here – English and Spanish.
Students must bring both consent forms with their parent or legal guardian’s signature on the day of the vaccine clinic.
