Middle School Uniform Guidelines

Excel Academy has a strict dress code and uniforms are expected to fit properly. The following guidelines outline uniform requirements for Excel Academy students in Grades 5-8. Uniforms are not available for sale at the school campuses.

Grades 5–8

Regular Uniform Tops

Students must adhere to the following guidelines on days that they do not have fitness. Recommended quantities are provided. We recommended 3 to start the year.

  • Solid navy blue polo shirt, short or long sleeve

  • Solid navy sweater, sweatshirt, or fleece

  • Excel logo not required

  • No other logos (Nike, Adidas, etc.)

  • No hoods

  • Can be purchased from Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. or vendor website

Grades 5–8

Students must adhere to the following guidelines on days that they do not have fitness. We recommend 2 to 3 bottoms to start the year.

  • Pants, shorts, or skirts finger-tip length or longer

  • Solid khaki or navy bottoms

  • No cargo pants or leggings
  • Excel logo not required

  • Can be purchased from Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. or vendor website.

Grades 5–8

Fitness Day & Friday Uniforms

Students may choose from the following on days that they have fitness class. We recommend 1-2 of each to start the year.

  • Solid gray long sleeve or t-shirt

  • Navy sweatpants, joggers, or shorts

  • Excel logo not required

  • No other logos (Nike, Adidas, etc.)

  • Can be purchased from Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. or vendor website.

  • Mostly black, non-black logo and trim acceptable

  • Closed toe

  • Sneakers and boots recommended

  • No crocs, sandals, slippers, or non-black sneakers

High School Uniform Guidelines

Top Layer

Students must have an Excel logo on their top layer. T-shirts from Excel’s Pride Store are permitted.

  • Top layer must have an Excel logo

  • Navy, gray, royal blue or white t-shirt, polo shirt, or button-down

  • Excel hoodie, jacket, sweater, or quarter-zip

  • Can be purchased from Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. or vendor website
