Yinnette Sano

Yinnette joined Excel’s staff in 2012 and currently serves as  Excel Academy’s Director of Diversity and Inclusivity. Prior to this role, Yinnette served as one of Excel’s Directors of Post-Secondary Support. Before joining Excel, Yinnette worked as a Senior Program Trainer at The Posse Foundation, and at the New World Foundation-COIN Scholarship Program as a COIN Scholar mentor. While attending graduate school Yinnette became an Education Pioneer and worked at Boston Public School headquarters in the New Teacher Training Office and at Boston College in the Student Programs Office. Yinnette holds a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
