Taylor Gaar

Taylor joined Excel’s staff in 2011 and currently serves as Excel Academy East Boston’s 5th & 6th grade science teacher. Taylor is also the Network-Wide Department Head for science. He previously worked for several years as a senior field instructor at a leading wilderness therapy program for troubled teens, located in the mountains of northern Georgia. Taylor is a graduate of Whitman College and holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
