Megan Aponte-Rios
Special Education CoordinatorMegan joined Excel’s staff in 2008 and currently serves as the Dean of Special Education Compliance. Prior to this role, Megan was the special education coordinator at Excel Academy Charter High School. For the last 10 years, Megan worked at Excel Academy East Boston as a tutoring specialist, learning support fellow, and 7th-grade learning specialist. Prior to Excel, Megan studied art history at the Courtauld Institute in London and worked in museum education at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and master’s degrees from Boston University and Endicott College.
