Laura Goldworm
Dean of College Access and Post-Secondary SuccessLaura joined Excel’s staff in 2008 and currently serves the Dean of College Access & Post-Secondary Success for the Excel Academy Network. She is responsible for managing the College Access & Post-Secondary Success team which oversees all college access and success programming for our students and alumni in 5th grade through post-secondary. Additionally, she provides direct support to a caseload of high school-aged alumni. Before joining, Excel Laura taught high school social studies for three years in New York City’s public schools through the NYC Teaching Fellows program and later worked at Jumpstart for Young Children in Boston. Laura earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Emory University and a master’s degree in teaching from Fordham University.
