Our Team

Isabel Darmon-Weiss

Isabel joined Excel at the start of the 2021-22 school year as a Teaching Fellow and currently serves as a 6^th Grade Math Teacher at Excel Academy East Boston.  Prior to Excel, Isabel attended the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies as well as a Five College Certificate in Reproductive Justice and Health. Last year, Isabel worked as a Teaching Fellow in a fifth-grade classroom of a Newton Public School and will graduate in May 2022 with a master’s degree in Teaching from Simmons University.
