Dayana Molina

Dayana is a native to Rhode Island and raised in Central Falls for most of her primary/secondary schooling. She became a University of Rhode Island graduate with a focus on Psychology and later found her interest and passion in education primarily in her community. She proudly served as a City Year in Providence working as a near-peer to middle schoolers and subsequently, became a Math Teacher at Achievement First Providence Middle School where she was part of the founding team. In her year of teaching, she developed a deep understanding of the crucial, foundational, operational systems needed in a school to enhance and support everyday school efficiencies as well as elevate family, staff and student culture morale. With that in mind, she pivoted to an operational role helping bridge the gap between teacher-student-family experiences and efficient school systems. Most recently, Dayana feels privileged to serve as the founding Dean of Operations for Excel Academy Charter Network and is eager to work alongside with community stakeholders to prepare for the launch of our first school in RI grounds!
