Elizabeth Purvis
Science TeacherElizabeth joined Excel’s staff in 2013 and currently serves as the 9th Grade Biology Teacher at Excel Academy Charter High School. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as the 5th and 6th Grade Science Teacher and Associate Science Teacher at Excel Academy Orient Heights. Before joining Excel, she taught biology and chemistry at the secondary level in Sierra Leone, West Africa for two years through the United States Peace Corps. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary.
