Application Process
 

Overview
As a public, charter school, Excel Academy is free of charge to all families. We are accepting applications for the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades for the 2008-2009 school year. The school is open to students from all MA school districts including Boston, Chelsea, Revere, and Everett. Any family who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply:

• The student is a resident of Massachusetts. (Note: Preference will be given to siblings of current students and to students from Boston & Chelsea.)
• Prior to August 2008, the student will have successfully completed 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th grade.

Seats for the 2008-09 school year are limited and students should apply immediately. The next application deadline is 5 pm on Monday, April 7, 2008.

Information Sessions
Families of interested students are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the school and the application process. All information sessions will be held at Excel Academy, located at 1150 Saratoga Street in East Boston.
 
The next Information session will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 6 pm.
